Berger Baby

Well.. the news is pretty much out now. Josh and I are having a baby!!! We are expecting a little firecracker, due on the 4th of July. I am almost 10 weeks pregnant now and am looking forward to getting the next four weeks over with and heading into my second trimester. I have been pretty sick (I'll spare you all the details) and been having allllllllll day nausea for a few weeks now. We had our first doctor's appointment about 2 weeks ago and we got to take a peek at the little bean. We got to see its little heart beating (139 bpm), which was pretty exciting for us since we didn't think we'd get any sort of ultrasound or sonogram until the big 20 week one. We have decided to go with the midwives instead of an OB/GYN and I am pretty excited to meet them. There are 6 or 7 of them and during your prenatal appointments you get to meet each of them. Then whoever is on call will deliver your baby, so there is no risk of getting to the hospital and not knowing the person delivering your baby. It's been a pretty crazy ride so far and I am still in a little bit of shock, but so thrilled. I think everyone was a little bit surprised by our news so it was pretty fun telling them. My sister actually thought I was lying to her, haha. Anyways, it should be a little easier to keep up with this now. Since I have some pretty drastic changes coming up, I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about!
