Long time, no blog

Well, it's been awhile.  It's funny because it seems like all of the blogs I stalk have been in a blogging rut as well lately.  I keep checking them for updates and thinking to myself, "Come on guys, give me something to read," but I haven't been doing much on mine either!  We've had a busy few weeks.  Last week was Josh's birthday.  He got his new iPhone, NBA Jam, and a new putter for his birthday, so he has been pretty busy playing with all of his new toys.  He had to go to Springfield for work on his birthday so he wasn't around that much, but Rudy and I made him one of his favorite desserts, Taffy Apple Pizza.  I just put the recipe onto the recipe blog so you can click on the link and check it out over there.

So Old!

I think Rudy wanted some too.

On Friday, Becca and Tom came over for dinner.  I made my favorite soup, Italian Sausage and Tortellini Soup.  (Recipe also posted on recipe blog.)  Then Josh, Rudy, and I went to the high school football game.  It was a really big game because this is the best the team has been in a really long time and they were undefeated.  Unfortunately, though, they suffered a horrible defeat on Friday night it was not a pretty game to watch.  Afterwards we had our annual youth group bonfire at the Westfall's.  My mom came over and watched Rudy for an hour and a half so I could go for a little bit.

Isn't he cute?  He is starting to play with his toys alot.  And by playing with his toys, I mean putting them in his mouth.  Sorry this picture is so bad.  I was trying to get him to smile and not looking through the viewfinder, so I didn't realize it was really lopsided!

We are going to have a busy few weeks these next few weeks as well.  This coming weekend is Becca and Tom's wedding get together with family, so my dad, Pam, and Liana will be in town and on Sunday Kristi, Josh, and Colt are going to come visit us for a week.  We will try to keep our faithful few readers updated though!  Much love to you all!
