One Week Old

Rudy is one week old today! He is doing fabulous and really is a good baby.  He only cries when his diaper gets changed and if he has gas.  He sleeps between feedings and eats like a horse.  As for me, I am exhausted. I feel like all I do is eat, sleep, and feed him.  I told Josh he could call me Bessie, the family cow.  I know it is all worth it and am so in love with my little man.  I am trying to relish every moment of time spent with him because I know he won't be little like this for long.  I can't believe a week has already passed. 

Josh has been so helpful and is taking really good care of me.  He has been doing all of the housework during feedings which makes it so much easier for me to relax and sleep when I want to. 

Murphy is in a little bit of shock.  He has been a really good boy, but has been moping around the house a little bit.  He tries to lick Rudy any chance he can get.  He has also decided that he doesn't want anything to do with me.  Josh and I are trying to be extra nice to him so that he will love Rudy and they can be the best of friends when Rudy gets a little older.
Josh and I have been trying to figure out who Rudy looks like.  He doesn't look overwhelmingly like either of us.  What do you guys think?
