The weather was so nice here this week. We went for a couple family walks, went to a high school track meet, went to a high school softball game (the last inning of it, at least), and did lots of other outdoor things. One worth noting is that Rudy got to go for his first lawnmower ride with his dad. I don't know if he knew what to think about it.
I also finished my last long run before our marathon training! Becca and I ran 12 miles on Thursday, and now we get to taper off until the big race in two weeks.
I also ran a 5k today. The county fair is trying to do a few new fundraisers this year, and they held a 5k as one of them. My sister, step-sister, and one of my brothers-in-law all participated. The weather was pretty nasty, but we had fun. I had heard beforehand that there would be prizes for the top three finishers in each age group, so I thought I would scope out the competition and see if it was feasible for me to win or place. I ended up winning for my age class! Haha. If you know me, you know I don't run fast, so this is pretty hilarious. I finished with a pretty good time, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't a true 5k because I know I wasn't running as fast as my time indicated. I was hoping there would be a cash prize or something, but I ended up with this little beauty:

I got a good laugh out of it at least.
