4 Months Old and a Brand New Bag of Tricks

Rudy turned four months old on Saturday.  What is he up to these days?  He just recently started sleeping in his crib in his room.  For most of the month he was sleeping anywhere between eight and ten hour stretches at night, but after he got his shots last week he back tracked a little bit.  We are still working on getting back to those long nights of sleep.  He now laughs out loud, and his favorite thing to laugh at is someone coughing.  He is starting to purposefully grab at toys, but it is a very slow grab.  He looks at an object, thinks about it, and then brings his hands out to grab it.  It usually takes a few seconds for him to get enough coordination to really get ahold of it.  He likes to stand up and will often throw his weight forward while sitting on someone's lap in an attempt to stand up. He does not like to ride in the car and often throws fits that make his momma want to pull her hair out while riding in the car, especially if it is dark outside.  (I'm convinced he's afraid of the dark.)  Just today Rudy pulled out a brand new bag of tricks.  He began rolling over from front to back... like it was no big deal.  He has never shown any interest in rolling over either way until now.  He also started blowing raspberries today.  It's been a very exciting day!   He continues to be a joy and I am so blessed to be his Momma.
